SEL offers Grate Bars for high temperature needs fitted in straight grate pellet cars of iron ore agglomeration units. Their service life has a major influence on plant productivity and pellet/Sinter quality. These grate bars are used as a travelling bed in the furnace upon which the fuel and fines along with other additives are burned to get agglomeration required. These bars are manufactured with various alloy compositions, depends on the operating environment and feed properties. The intermittent gap in the grate bar allows the hot air flow for combustion.
